Note for Oz v Ind Tests

Just watching last nights Ind v SL odo and the Indian opening bowlers were
decidedly quick. Both with good actions plus a quick arm. Instant Sharma
bowled first change and looked positively Jimmy Hopes in comparison. If
they play in the Tests it could be fun. Yadav & Varun (Aaron) are the names
to remember.

Don't bother. Aaron is prone to injury. It is a miracle he played two tests in Eng without breaking down. And he left after bowling a few overs due to injury and may be out of the seires. Yadav is just back from injury. If both of them are fit and Shami is also fit, then India would have half decent bowling in Aus.

Agree there.

Though India's batting survives only on home cooking. Fielding has fallen off, too.

For me the big positive is - Shastri is part of the team admin - don't have to listen to his pompous comments in the commentary box.
