So where's your "Australian XI"?

dont know.....Wade doesn't seem to be able to contribute enough runs to cover his keeping errors...maybe Paine as keeper
UK just fails overseas more then Australia does in India over the last decade
No use having a number 6 that bowls when the Captain doesnt like him or will bowl him ie. Maxwell
I guess we will see how they go in the SS
now please reurn the serve and "state" your side
The side that I think will be selected is your nine plus the two contenders
who perform best in the early Shield. I suspect that Wade is a goner unless
he manages some consisently good scores in the SS. Leaving Bleaktown means
he'll lose Dic support.
*My* side is still pretty much as per your nine with;
* an uncapped keeper given a go. Regardless of how many runs Wade & Nevill
score. This team needs a Rod Marsh-type character behind the sticks to
'drive' them.
* Would like to see the Dorf get a go at some stage, and Sayers come to
think of it, but it's impossible to nominate 'the mix' of fast bowlers atm
as the Pomgolian batting is unknown. Besides, it's long been a pointless
exercise trying to pick the quicks. One of them probably dropped the tv
remote last night and broke three toes.
Asides:
* Travis Head might get a gig. I think there's a cell in CA who are pushing
him as a FAC, an ambition which is reasonably resonable given the current
situation of SPIT being a dud and Warner being an undeserving meathead.
[And who is NIL anyway?]
* Am still unconvinced by Handscombe. OK, so SPIT made it with a rotten
technique, but he at least covers his stumps and has an almost traditional
grip.
Unrelated: This seasons dodo tourney is being 'properly' covered by live
streaming on cricket.com.au. There's some seriously terrible commentary on
it, but it's still better than Neins'.
